Discord bot for WARDOGS communities

Run your WARDOGS server from Discord.

Agent Wardog fills your empty server, runs your VIP list on autopilot, and puts full admin control one slash command away, with a log of everything your team does. We host it. You install nothing.

Invite-only while we open up. Log in with Discord, ask for access, and we'll approve you by hand.

  • Runs as your own Discord bot

What it does

Everything a WARDOGS community runs on, automated.

Seeding

Never stare at an empty server again.

When the population stays low, Agent Wardog posts a seeding call in your channel and pings the role you choose. It waits out the normal dip after a map change, keeps a cooldown between calls, and stays quiet during your overnight hours in your time zone.

  • Reward the people who help: players who stay connected through a seed can earn temporary VIP automatically, with a whisper in-game to tell them.
  • Or call it yourself: admins can fire a seeding call on demand with /seed.
  • Your role, your channel: choose which role gets pinged and where the call is posted.

VIP

VIP that runs itself.

Members link their SteamID with one button. Give them your VIP role and Agent Wardog reserves their slot on the game server. Take the role away and the slot goes with it. No spreadsheets, no manual list edits.

  • Always in sync: reserved slots are reconciled with the server every few minutes, in both directions.
  • Gentle reminders: a daily DM nudges VIPs who haven't linked yet.
  • Easy for members: paste a SteamID64, a STEAM_0 ID, or a steamcommunity.com/profiles/… link.
  • Admin tools: audit links against Discord roles, look up, list or unlink any member, and change how many reserved slots the server holds, live.

Admin control

Full server control, without leaving Discord.

Your admins get slash commands for the things they do all day: kick, ban, unban, whisper, kill, and move a player to another team. Player names autocomplete from who is actually online.

  • Safe by default: changing the map, broadcasting, adjusting lighting, and ending or restarting a match all ask for a confirmation first.
  • Locked to your admin role: nobody else can run them.
  • Accountable: moderation and match commands are logged to a channel of your choice: who ran them, on whom, and the reason or message where there is one.

Stats

Leaderboards your players will actually check.

One self-updating message tracks how busy your server gets and who's dominating it: peak concurrent players, faction balance, top cash, most playtime, best K/D, and top kills. Pin it and forget it.

  • Built from your server's own player data, refreshed on a schedule you can trust.
  • Old raw data is pruned automatically; player names stay so the boards keep working.

The dashboard

Set it up in minutes. Then forget about it.

A guided setup takes you from nothing to a running bot: it checks your bot token, tells you if a required Discord switch is off, waits for the bot to join your server, and tests your game server's connection before you launch.

  • Pick by name: roles and channels come from your server as dropdowns. No IDs to copy.
  • Always see what it's doing: live status and recent logs, with your secrets automatically blanked out.
  • In your hands: change any setting later, stop and start the bot, or delete it and its data whenever you like.
  • We keep it running: hosted, restarted if it ever stumbles, and isolated from every other community.

And the details that make it feel like yours

Your branding

The bot is your own Discord application, so it carries the name and avatar you give it in Discord. Your brand color and community name appear on its status board, stats board and VIP message.

Pick by name, not by ID

Choose roles and channels from dropdowns showing their real names. No developer mode, no copying numbers.

Rotation and health at a glance

See what's playing now and next, check the RCON API's health, and read the game server's own admin-action log, all from Discord.

Live map, mode and lighting

Change the map, game mode, time of day or weather using the options your server actually supports. Choices autocomplete from your server's own catalog.

Quiet hours that respect you

Seeding calls stay silent overnight in your time zone, so your members can sleep.

Permissions that make sense

Admin commands need your admin role. Setup commands that post permanent messages are for the server owner only.

Everything it does

The full list, so nothing surprises you.

Keep your server full

  • Automatic seeding calls when the population stays low
  • Ignores the brief dip after a map change
  • Cooldown between calls, so it never spams
  • Quiet hours in your own time zone
  • Pings the role you choose, in the channel you choose
  • Seeding call on demand with /seed
  • Temporary VIP for players who stay through a seed
  • Grant that reward by hand to anyone who missed it

VIP on autopilot

  • One-button SteamID linking, right in Discord
  • Accepts SteamID64, STEAM_0 IDs and steamcommunity.com/profiles links
  • Gain the VIP role: prompted to link. Lose it: unlinked, slot freed
  • Reserved slots reconciled with the server every few minutes, both ways
  • Daily reminder DMs to VIPs who haven't linked
  • Audit links against your Discord roles
  • Look up, list and unlink members
  • See and change the reserved-slot cap live

Moderate and run matches

  • Kick, ban and unban, with player names that autocomplete
  • Whisper a private in-game message to a player
  • Kill a player's character or move them to another team
  • See who's connected: faction, K/D, cash and ping
  • See current bans
  • Broadcast to the whole server
  • Change the map, mode, lighting and zone layout
  • End or restart the match, each with a confirm step

Boards and accountability

  • A live status board: map, players, scores, top cash and kills
  • A leaderboard: peak players, faction balance, playtime, K/D
  • Both edit themselves and survive restarts
  • An admin log of moderation and match actions: who, on whom, and the reason
  • The game server's own admin-action log, on demand
  • Map rotation: what's playing now and next
  • RCON health and queue diagnostics
  • Post a message as the bot, exactly as typed

Safe by design

  • Admin commands need your admin role
  • Setup commands that post permanent messages are owner-only
  • /help shows each person only the commands they can run
  • Match-wide actions ask before they act
  • Your bot works only in the one server you pick
  • It can't read what your members write

The hosted part

  • Guided setup with a live check at each step
  • Roles and channels chosen by name
  • Your credentials encrypted and never shown again
  • Live status and recent logs in your dashboard
  • Change settings, stop, start or delete, any time
  • Hosted, monitored and restarted for you
  • Your community isolated from every other
  • Removed from your server if your subscription ends

How it works

From access to running in a few minutes.

  1. 1

    Request access and log in

While we're invite-only, ask for access with your Discord login. Once you're approved, you log in the same way. No passwords to remember.

  2. 2

    Create your bot

We walk you through making your own bot in the Discord Developer Portal and exactly which switch to turn on.

  3. 3

    Invite it and choose roles

Add it to your server, then pick your admin role, VIP role and channels from your server by name.

  4. 4

    Connect your game server

Enter your server's RCON details. We test the connection before you launch, then we run everything.

Security

You're handing over real keys. Here's how we treat them.

Your bot, your account

It runs as your own Discord application. You stay in control of it, and you can remove it from your server at any time.

Locked to your server

Your bot only ever operates in the one Discord server you choose. It leaves any other server it's added to.

Credentials encrypted

Your bot token and RCON password are encrypted at rest and never shown again after you save them. Your bot runs in its own isolated space, apart from other communities.

Ends when you do

If your subscription ends, your bot goes offline and is removed from your Discord server.

Agent Wardog uses Discord's Server Members permission to manage VIP roles. It does not use Discord's Message Content permission, so it can't read what your members write.

Pricing

One simple subscription per community.

We're letting communities in gradually, so it's invite-only for now. Pricing will be announced when we open to everyone. Ask for access now to get in early.

FAQ

Questions we expect.

How do I get access?

Agent Wardog is invite-only for now. Click Request early access, log in with Discord, and press the request button. We approve requests by hand, and once yours is approved you log in the same way and set up your bot. To review it we keep your Discord ID and name, your verified Discord email and a short note, and we delete the request once it's decided.

What do I need to get started?

A WARDOGS game server with its RCON HTTP API reachable (your host can tell you the address and password), and a Discord server where you can add bots. That's it. There's nothing to install or host.

Do I really get my own bot?

Yes. You create the bot in the Discord Developer Portal, so its name and avatar are whatever you set there, and it stays under your control. We run it for you. You also set your community name and brand color, which show up on its boards and messages.

What can the bot access in my Discord server?

Only what the invite screen lists, which you can review before you add it. It uses the Server Members permission to manage VIP roles, and it does not have access to message content.

Is my RCON password safe?

It's encrypted at rest and never displayed again once saved. Your bot runs in its own isolated environment, separate from every other community's.

What happens if I stop paying or cancel?

Your bot goes offline and is removed from your Discord server. If you had reset your bot's token in Discord, we can't remove it for you, so you'd remove it yourself. If you subscribe again, you'll re-invite it.

Can I use one bot for several game servers or Discord servers?

Each subscription covers one Discord server and one game server for now.

Is this official?

No. Agent Wardog is an independent community tool. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by the developers or publishers of WARDOGS.
